To select, requisition, sell and promote wines in the wine department.
1. Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
2. Works with wine reps to determine optimum selection/offering for a particular stores clientele.
3. Discusses wines with guests to help them determine the best wine selection for their event.
4. Trains other wine demonstrators/stewards.
5. Recommends wine to accompany food (e.g. cheese, crackers, etc.).
6. Stocks shelves, counters or tables with merchandise.
7. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
8. Obtain merchandise requested by guest.
9. Answers guest’s questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
10. Clean shelves, counters and table.
11. Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock.
12. Ensures that proper signage and shelf talkers are in place.
13. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
14. Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.

2. Is familiar with ALE laws governing sell, and purchasing of wine products.

4. Friendly, outgoing personality.
5. Individual must be self-motivated, trustworthy and able to adhere to all guidelines.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
8. Ability to lift 30lbs. consistently and 50lbs. occasionally.
9. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
10. Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
11. Must be at least 21 years old.
12. Ability to effectively communicate with Store Manager, DSD Receiver and wine representatives.
