Primary Job Description The User Experience Designer will collaborate with our multidisciplinary design teams to shape meaningful digital experiences that effectively realize the goals of our clients. The User Experience Designer will be on the front lines of the ideation process bringing form to user interfaces, problem solving, and applying strategic thinking to unique, site‑specific digital platforms that include large format touch‑screens and Audio/Visual configurations. The User Experience Designer will also play a research role and contribute the design process by objectively validating and quantifying the effectiveness of our design decisions. This research role includes identifying exercises and process‑related approaches that will give the team actionable insight that will inform an iterative approach to design. The Downstream leadership team will work with you to establish personal goals annually. These goals will be set collaboratively to create clear expectations for growth and development. The leadership team will also partner with you to manage junior staff, build productive design teams, and contribute to business success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 4+ years experience in User Experience Design Proven track record creating successful experiences for Fortune 500 clients Champion principles of usability and user‑centered design Passionate about creating best‑in‑class user experiences Proven ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously Excellent written and oral communication skills Other Duties Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant user interfaces Create concept models, user interface sketches and detailed schematics Work closely with designers and developers to ensure the success of design systems Participate in the brainstorming and creation of concepts for best in class user experiences Participate in discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews Develop user personas and scenarios Determine business requirements and feature set Building content strategies and narrative that support a world‑class design team Realizing design concepts and building long‑term client success Establishing efficiencies in executing content concepts, thematic narratives Content frameworks, use case scenarios, headlines and scripts Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function Design Design Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Downstream
