(Buffing glassware, silverware, roll-ups, etc.) The Server will accurately take food & beverage orders and serve all food and beverage requests while utilizing a suggestive-selling technique and adhering to service timing standards. The server will pre-bus all tables throughout the guests dining service and ensure that tables are cleared upon the completion of the guests’ service. The server is responsible for entering guest orders into the point-of-sale accurately, presenting guests with completed guest checks, and for securing/processing proper payment methods. Server is responsible for routinely ensuring that the guests experience is satisfactory and for initiating recoveries when presented with guest-issues. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and guest-service equipment. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience as a food server within a casual full-service restaurant environment required Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace. Ability to work weekends, holidays and a flex shift if needed Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations and policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons.
