Litigation Attorney - Personal Injury (Woodland Hills or Remote)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join a mid-sized trial firm with a thriving personal injury practice.

Position Overview:

The firm is seeking an experienced litigator with more than 5 years of insurance defense and/or plaintiff-side personal injury experience, including a minimum of 5 jury trials to verdict. This attorney should be motivated, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of an active caseload while working closely within a team-based litigation department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 30-50 personal injury matters from inception through resolution
• Lead and assist in jury trials and participate in regular case strategy roundtables
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Collaborate with dedicated paralegal and support staff to move cases efficiently through the litigation process
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and team members

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed California attorney in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff and/or defense)
• At least 5 jury trials to verdict
• Strong research, writing, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
