Job Description

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year, designed for a dedicated professional committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs. This contract role is based in Mentor, OH, and focuses on creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and achievement for students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success and inclusion.
• Utilize various instructional strategies and assistive technologies to engage students effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching plans as necessary.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
