Job Description

Vision for the Role: A Seasonal Hume SoCal Accommodations Crew Member helps provide a comfortable and distraction-free experience for guests and campers by preparing lodge rooms and camp cabins, cleaning restrooms, and setting up gathering spaces of camp to Hume standards in a timely manner. He or she must be prepared to care for the spiritual needs of guests and staff.

The Role: 

• Preparation and cleaning of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas 
• Cleaning and setting up of chapels, dining rooms, and meeting rooms 
• Laundering of linens and towels 
• Stocking of Accommodations and guest items throughout the various facilities 
• Snow removal 
• Sweeping, raking, and, if needed, shoveling

• Ability to be on-site while camp programs are in session

• Ability to project a friendly attitude to meet the needs of all Accommodations’ customers  

Physical Requirements:  

• This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. 
• Must be able to stand, kneel and bend for extended periods of time 
• Must be able to live in extreme weather conditions at a high altitude 
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the position

Salary : $16.50, Hourly
