As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a strong and approachable presence to help to deter incidents, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while addressing inquiries and supporting a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Report and document any incidents, unusual observations, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with questions or directions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support emergency response activities and follow established procedures during fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other critical events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
