As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Control Room in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to situations. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Monday 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM

Tuesday 05:45 AM - 02:00 PM

Saturday 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the location.
  • Coordinate and dispatch security-related personnel and resources in response to incidents, alarms, and/or emergencies.
  • Receive, document, and communicate information from incoming calls, radio transmissions, and/or electronic alerts to appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all dispatch activities, incidents, and/or communications throughout the shift.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and directing them according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
