PDQ Door Company is Maine’s leading provider for garage doors, dock equipment, automatic pedestrian doors, and more! With branches in Hampden, Rockport, West Bath, Waterville, Houlton, and Presque Isle, we are able to provide superior service to the entire state of Maine.

Summary

The Sales Representative will play a key role in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and helping to coordinate the pipeline of activities from customer inquiries to confirmed sales orders to install & service jobs being scheduled and completed. This role ensures that all necessary information is obtained and shared with all appropriate parties (customers, internal departments, installation team, contractors, etc.). The ideal candidate brings customer-facing experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to the table. Join us in delivering excellence every day.

Duties

  • Gather necessary information from customers/contractors and provide job estimates.
  • Generate new leads and follow up with potential leads.
  • Clearly communicate with technicians and other team members regarding upcoming and ongoing installation/service jobs.
  • Provide customers/contractors with the appropriate forms and documents to prepare for installation.
  • Act as liaison between customer and contractor as needed.
  • Travel through assigned territory to site-check customer residential/commercial properties.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales role.
  • Reliable transportation to and from your base office location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge or experience of electrical, construction, etc.

Work Conditions

  • Climate-controlled office environment with continual sitting & use of computer.
  • Repetitive hand and wrist motion, use of computers and internal office equipment
  • Exposure to weather and temperature elements while performing jobsite site checks.
