Your Opportunity:
Navitor, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join the team in North Mankato, Minnesota.
Your Responsibilities:
* Set up, calibrate, and operate a 6-color printing press to produce high-quality printed materials
* Inspect printed products for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality
* Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performance
* Load inks, paper, and other materials while adjusting press settings as needed
* Identify and resolve printing issues such as color misalignment, streaking, or press malfunctions
* Follow all safety protocols, workplace policies, and industry standards
* Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines while minimizing waste
Your Shift:
3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
You Must Have:
* Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and printing processes
* Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and print-related issues
* Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
Requirements within this position:
* Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
* Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
* Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
* Frequently required to move inside the facility
* Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
* Previous experience operating a multi-color printing press
* Ability to distinguish colors
* Experience in a production-related environment
* High school diploma or equivalent
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18-23 per hour, plus shift differential. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, education level, certifications, and work location. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
