Personal Assistant to UHNW Writer - $160k-$180k This range is provided by The British Connection Staffing. Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr The British Connection is pleased to be the sole and exclusive agent for this search for: Personal Assistant to a Private Family – Discreet, Savvy, and Highly Capable An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly organized, intelligent, and experienced Personal Assistant to support a creative, private, and highly accomplished individual . This role requires someone who is discreet, proactive, and adaptable , with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to anticipate needs before they arise. ---------------MOSTLY WFH WITH TRAVEL TO HOMES IN NY, CA and HAWAII--------------- We adore this client and know them to be fair, kind, moral and fun. They have an excellent track record with staff. The most recent assistant is leaving after 10 yrs to become a full-time mother. About the Role: This is a hybrid PA position , blending remote work with travel and in-person support across the family’s multiple estates in California, New York, South America, Hawaii , as well as other locations. The PA will play a key role in managing scheduling, travel coordination, correspondence, and acting as a liaison between project managers, staff, and service providers. The role requires an individual with impeccable judgment , capable of seamlessly managing the demands of a dynamic household while respecting the family’s deeply private, low-profile lifestyle . About the Principal: The client is a writer, filmmaker, and mother , deeply involved in the design, renovation, and management of multiple properties. She is intellectually curious, creative, and warm, with a great sense of humor . The PA will work closely with her, handling everything from email management and scheduling to overseeing logistics and projects. The role requires someone who thrives in an environment where no task is too small or too complex . Her husband is a visionary entrepreneur, investor and one of the earliest figures in the crypto space , with a global presence in finance and technology. While he has his own dedicated EA/PA team, there will be coordination required for scheduling and logistics. The Family & Lifestyle: This is a highly close-knit, down-to-earth family who prioritize privacy, adventure, and authenticity over social status. They met young and have been married for over 20 years, with three children: two adult sons and a teenage daughter. Their lifestyle is globally mobile, with a deep appreciation for nature, sailing, and travel . Their Hawaiian home is a retreat where their youngest can enjoy a simpler life away from Silicon Valley. The family values discretion, intelligence, and kindness above all else. Key Responsibilities: Full email and calendar management – proactively handling correspondence and scheduling. Liaising with household and estate staff across multiple US and international properties. Overseeing renovation and interior design projects including burgeoning art collection – acting as a bridge between the principal and project teams. Managing personal errands and ad-hoc requests with efficiency and discretion. Occasionally traveling to the family’s homes (mostly CA, NY, HI) for immersive onboarding and ongoing support . Ideal Candidate: 5-15 years’ experience as a Private PA , including in-home PA experience at a high level. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – must be highly articulate. Unflappable, proactive, and highly discreet – understands the balance between professionalism and warmth. Experience working with UHNW families , with no sense of being "wowed" by the wealth, lifestyle, or properties. Strong moral character – loyal, kind, and eager to serve without ego. No task is too big or too small – must be happy to roll up sleeves while also managing high-level logistics. Savvy, adaptable, and intelligent – capable of handling the unexpected with grace. Emotionally mature and level-headed – able to navigate a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Bilingual Spanish a big plus Must be based in the U.S. - NYC or Silicon Valley preferred.
