Join the team at San Diego Jewish Academy as a full-time Marketing Associate in our Marketing Department! The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and extremely organized professional who thrives on managing multiple projects, capturing high-quality photography, supporting communications, and contributing to a wide range of marketing initiatives that help tell our school's story.
You will be kept busy with: - Capturing high-quality photographs during school events, activities, and day-to-day campus life (top priority).
- Managing social media and advertising calendars.
- Assisting with graphic design for digital and print materials (ads, brochures, presentations, emails, flyers, etc.).
- Organizing and maintaining the school's photo and video library.
- Supporting the communications calendar, ensuring deadlines are met for newsletters, announcements, and event invitations.
- Collaborating with departments to gather content and ensure accurate and engaging communications.
- Helping monitor and report metrics for email, website, and social media performance.
- Ensuring consistency with brand guidelines across all communication materials.
- Assist with other communication and marketing tasks as needed and as directed.
Heres what you bring to the table: Skills/Education/Experience - Previous experience in marketing, communications required.
- Related industry experience preferred (not for profit/education).
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong photography skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
- Experience with photo editing; video skills are a plus.
- Comfort with design software (Adobe Creative or similar) - graphic design experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with Blackbaud is an asset.

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The offer to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and years of experience; training; practical knowledge; and education.
