Job Title: Full-Time Live-In Companion/Housekeeper
Location: Hollywood Hills, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: Salary DOE (Dependent on Experience)

An elderly woman in Hollywood Hills is seeking a live-in Companion/Housekeeper to provide supportive, kind, and attentive care. The client is 80 years old and living with dementia. This is a l ive-in position , and the ideal candidate will bring a warm presence to the home, serving as a trusted companion and helping hand throughout the week.

While the household is supported by additional cleaning staff and visiting nurses/caregivers, this role requires someone who is truly dedicated to companionship and daily assistance , with the interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate clearly with both healthcare professionals and family members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily companionship and emotional support with a gentle, respectful approach
• Assist with light housekeeping and organization to maintain a tidy, safe, and comforting home environment
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and assist with mealtimes
• Accompany client on short walks or appointments when needed
• Offer reminders and light oversight with medication or routine (in coordination with caregivers)
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with the client's family and visiting medical professionals
• Create a calm, patient, and positive atmosphere throughout the day

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with elderly clients, especially those with dementia , strongly preferred
• Exceptional patience, empathy, and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a care team, including nurses and family members
• Must be discreet, respectful, and trustworthy
• Strong English communication skills required
• Fully vaccinated and able to pass a background check
