At Courtyard at Jamestown in Provo, Life Enrichment Assistants play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents in both assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Life Enrichment Assistants facilitate and lead planned activities that encourage resident engagement, socialization, and personal interests. Responsibilities include helping with daily group and individual programs, supporting residents in participating in events and excursions, and assisting the team in organizing activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being. Compassion, enthusiasm, and an ability to connect with seniors are essential as you help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for all residents. Courtyard at Jamestown offers spacious senior apartments, chef-prepared dining, a spacious urban patio, a fitness center, library, beauty salon, and access to enriching activities each month. Job Description Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for facilitating the planned activities in a retirement community for both assisted living and memory care units. This involves everything from leading exercise classes and sing-alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes and reading. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter. Must have open availability throughout the Christmas break to support resident activities and events. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated
• involve the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter
• Food Handlers Permit
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis
