Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced forklift operator for the 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate a propane-powered forklift to move materials around the plant and load trailers. You will also perform daily basic maintenance on the forklift, including checking oil levels and conducting basic safety checks. Additional responsibilities include general housekeeping and documentation of work, as well as some material handler duties such as order picking, shipping, and receiving as assigned.

Essential Skills
Previous forklift experience (2 years).
Ability to work 2nd shift hours.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a large warehouse environment.
Familiarity with working with cardboard and other packaging materials.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large warehouse with multiple forklifts operating at all times. The 2nd shift hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Employees are required to wear high visibility vests and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
