Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Director Financial Planning, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for key areas including financial planning & consolidation, key business indicator tracking, data analytics, and business intelligence.
Commitment To Internal Control The incumbent accepts the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the internal control system associated with the essential duties and responsibilities of the functional areas that the incumbent manages.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Collaborate with line of business finance leaders in the preparation of the budget and medium-term plans, incorporating key aspects across the business into the assumptions for the plan and periodic forecasts.
- Review consolidated budget and forecast plans ensuring assumptions are appropriate, calculations are accurate and targeted results are reasonable.
- Track key business indicators throughout forecasting cycle, provide variance analysis and support finance leaders’ business update
- Improve reporting process, leveraging newly incorporated enterprise business tools (Workday, InfoLease, Kyriba, PowerBI, etc.) for higher accuracy, faster turnaround, and more impactful business insight.
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders including business executives, headquarters in Japan, and industry and trade partners for enterprise level reporting
- Support compliance and audit requests for internal and external auditors
- Assist SVP FP&A with projects as needed.
Key Performance Indicators - Monthly internal reports are timely and accurately completed
- Reduce friction and turnaround time for reporting
- Report change requests are implemented to stakeholders’ satisfaction
Responsibility And Decision-Making Authority - Act independently; Decision making within company policy.
Management/Supervisory Responsibilities Qualifications/Skills/Abilities - Experience in Financial planning & analysis required, including budget preparation, financial modeling, and management reporting
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance
- Advanced Excel; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Workday Financial Reporting a strong preference
- Experience in financial services, specifically equipment finance, preferred.
- Experience with PowerBI , SQL, a plus

Education And Experience - BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in FP&A or other relevant facets of finance in the leasing industry.
- Experience with multinational company a plus.
Working Hours - 40 hours per week but may require work outside standard hours depending on business needs.

- Occasional travel for business meeting

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $70,000.00 and $85,000.00 with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
