Job Title: Document Control Clerk

Job Type: Temporary (6 months)

Location: Hawthorne, CA 90250 (On-site)

Pay Rate: Up to $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A Document Control Clerk is needed for a 6-month temporary assignment with a manufacturing organization in Hawthorne, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining and organizing engineering and quality documentation using both electronic systems and hard copy files. The position supports internal teams by ensuring accurate processing, distribution, and retrieval of critical documents in a time-sensitive environment.

• Manage and maintain document files (hard copy and digital) using databases such as ERP, MES, FTP, and DMS
• Scan, index, distribute, archive, and retrieve technical documentation
• Coordinate document review and approval workflows with multiple departments
• Assist with releasing and distributing engineering and quality documentation
• Perform accurate data entry and update records in internal systems
• Verify documentation for completeness and accuracy before archiving
• Support internal audits and compliance activities as needed
• Adhere to established company policies and quality standards
• Participate in ongoing process improvements and document control initiatives
• Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of document control experience required (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Familiarity with filing systems and configuration management principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and WinZip
• Basic experience with electronic drawing software; AutoCAD preferred
• Knowledge of quality standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485) is a plus

• Hourly Rate: Up to $23.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• This is a temporary W-2 position with no guarantee of extension or conversion

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
• This is a fully on-site role; remote or hybrid work is not available
• Start date: ASAP
