Commercial Painting Estimator

Trueline is seeking a Commercial Painting Estimator to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This is an immediate, full-time opportunity for a driven estimator who can produce precise proposals, manage pre-construction communications, and support a collaborative operations team. What You'll Do As the Commercial Painting Estimator:
  • Generate accurate, timely cost estimates for commercial painting and coating projects
  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate project requirements, confirm scope, and gather necessary details
  • Interpret specifications, drawings, and bid documents to prepare detailed proposals
  • Assist project managers with pre-construction meetings, submittals, and schedules
  • Maintain active communication with potential clients and follow up on outstanding bids
  • Build and nurture client relationships to ensure repeat business and referral opportunities
  • Stay current on market trends, material pricing, and competitive benchmarks
Must-Haves as the Commercial Painting Estimator:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in commercial painting estimation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive
  • Strong budgeting and calculation skills, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple estimates simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites in the Charlotte area
Nice-To-Haves as the Commercial Painting Estimator:
  • Established relationships, contacts, and business in the Charlotte, NC area
  • Previous involvement in pre-construction meetings and proposal follow-ups
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
