Topps Private Investigation and Security Firm is a fast growing and rapidly expanding security company providing exceptional service to both government and private business. In addition to contract security, TPISF provides a wide range of services including private investigation, background checks, and state funded enrollment services.

We are seeking high-quality, experienced, and professional Armed Security Guards in the Jackson, MS area. If you are looking for a positive and team-work based environment, then we are the company for you!

Positions available:

Full time and part time

Qualifications:

• Security Guard experience (minimum 2 years)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to carry weapons in the state of Mississippi

Job Requirements:

• Maintain professional dress and appearance at all times (uniform provided)
• Maintain visual presence in main lobby as the first point of contact for anyone entering the building
• Maintain visitor sign-in book and follow procedures for signing in visitors
• Continous walking and/or mobile patrol of exterior parking lot
• Report to supervisor no later than the day following each shift of any problems encountered
• Additional duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: From $12.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Holidays
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jackson, MS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security guard: 2 years (Required)

Shift availability:

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
• Day Shift (Preferred)
