Position Overview:
Reynolds Ash + Associates are urgently seeking structural engineers with an architectural focus for its locations in Durango, Alamosa, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. As a Structural Engineer at RA+A, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering for assigned projects, collaborating closely with architectural teams to ensure the highest quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential, commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use design projects and will be committed to meeting project milestones and delivery dates. Please note that we are not hiring for remote work. Only applicants with architectural experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for various architectural projects.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams to integrate structural solutions into design.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, maintaining clear communication with team members.
  • Conduct thorough documentation of structural designs, calculations, and project notes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly in residential and commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, etc.).
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to understand the impact of design decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a flexible work environment.
  • Initiative to ask questions, take thorough notes, and think ahead.
