Job Opening: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, entering tenant leases, maintaining tenant information, and assisting with collections activities.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner


• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts


• Review tenant ledgers to ensure accuracy


• Collaborate with property managers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes


• Enter tenant leases into the system accurately and maintain tenant information


• Process payments received and allocate them accordingly


• Prepare and maintain various reports related to tenant accounts


• Assist with month-end closing processes as needed


• Prepare notices for tenant's non payment and rent increases

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


• Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar role


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy


• Experience with property management software Appfolio


• General knowledge of property management laws is Los Angeles area
