Counterintelligence Officer Analytical and Investigative Support (Level III)

Overall Description:
Conduct defensive CI activities in support of the NGA mission.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct defensive CI operations to protect NGA missions, personnel, programs, technology, and information systems from intelligence, terrorism, and espionage threats.
Research, gather, evaluate, and interpret all-source information to identify and analyze intelligence, terrorism, and espionage threats against NGA and the National System for GEOINT (NSG).
Provide comprehensive CI analyses and threat forecasts for distribution to NGA, DoD, and the broader Intelligence Community (IC), including annual assessments for CONUS and OCONUS personnel.
Apply advanced analytical tools (e.g., M3, Palantir, TAC, ARCSIGHT, RSA Security Analytics, CCD, TIDE) to detect and assess anomalous activities and their potential links to foreign intelligence collection.
Facilitate extensive liaison and information sharing with NGA components, DoD, the IC, and law enforcement to support CI activities and stay current on trends and issues.
Conduct foreign contact and travel debriefings, produce critical reports like Supply Chain Risk Assessments and Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), and provide CI expertise for personnel security adjudications and Special Access Programs (SAP).
Develop and disseminate intelligence, alerts, and countermeasures to mitigate threats, provide analytical forecasts, and offer CI assessments for international agreements involving GEOINT sharing.
Deliver routine and specialized CI briefings (e.g., threat briefings for travelers, conference attendees) and prepare materials for internal and external audiences at all strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
Provide technical CI expertise and support for vulnerability mitigation, Research and Technology Protection (RTP) initiatives (including CI Threat Assessments), and the seamless integration of CI into NGA's Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) policies and initiatives.
Participate in and support IC-directed damage assessment task forces for unauthorized disclosures or loss of classified information, including interviewing personnel and preparing formal reports with findings and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelors degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis/Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Shall have a minimum of 7 years of CI experience.
Shall have Foundational defensive CI experience (ex. conducting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training and awareness).
Shall be a credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (ex. FBI Academy, etc.).
Desired Qualifications:
Possess a Masters degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis/Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a TS/SCI with the ability to pass a CI Poly
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
